Lt. Shree Puran Ramprakash Dikshit Mahavidhyalaya Keeping in mind the great need of education of the students of this backward area, the government has affiliated this college with Bundelkhand College for the Faculty of Arts (Hindi, English, Sociology, Political Science, Painting, Home Science, History and Environmental Science). It has been provided for the study and teaching of BA along with other subjects. Along with BA, the facility of B.Sc. Agriculture is also available. The college building is situated on a huge plot of 8 acres and about 40 acres of agricultural farm is available for the students of B.Sc. (Agriculture Science). The college is a private, well-equipped and grand building where There are complete arrangements for clean toilets (separate), common room, electricity, generator, clean water, cultured education and security for the students.

This Bundelkhand is the brave land of the Bundelas, where there has always been no dearth of warriors who sacrificed everything for their honour, pride and honour. The heroes here have played a leading role in the freedom struggle for the glory of the country.

The place that the freedom fighters, including Shri Naval Kishore Gurudev, have created by sacrificing their lives for the sacred freedom of the country, is unforgettable even today in the village “Gehrauli”, the heart of Hamirpur district of Bundelkhand. In order to increase the level of education and educational development of the villagers, Satyadev Dixit established Late Puran Ram Prakash Dixit Mahavidyalaya in 2014 in the memory of his late father and grandfather, Late Puran Ram Prakash Dixit.

Features of Late Puran Ram Prakash Dixit College :

• Academic tour: From time to time, students in the college are taken on tour to research institutes/universities related to their subject so that the intellectual development of the students takes place.

• Library: Books on all subjects of agriculture are available in the college library. Along with this, along with the facility of study of subject magazines, newspapers and reference books, the facility of reading room is also available for study with about 50 students.

• Facility of agricultural farm: The college has adequate agricultural farm available on which efforts are made to train the students and work on research on the development of major crops with a view to agricultural development of Bundelkhand.

• Annual magazine of the college: The college publishes its annual magazine every year in which articles related to high level literary and agricultural scientific training are published by the students and professors.

• Scholarships: Monthly scholarships are provided by the government to the students of Scheduled Caste/Tribe, Backward Caste, Minority and General Caste, apart from this, the college also makes efforts to provide scholarships to meritorious students by various organizations.

• Disciplinary Committee: To maintain discipline in the college, a disciplinary committee is constituted every year, which works to maintain discipline among the students.

• Sports and Physical Education: Along with studies in the college, students are also given the facility of various sports, so that the students remain mentally and physically healthy.

• Debate competitions and seminars: For the intellectual development of the students, debate competitions and seminars are organized from time to time in the college on various subjects, so that the students can develop intellectually along with their studies.

• National Service Scheme: One unit of National Service Scheme is running in the college, and another unit is also proposed under which participation of 100 students in general programs and 50 students in special camps is provided.

• Railway Concession Facility: Railway Concession Forms are provided to the students for commuting during holidays, through which 50% fare concession is given to the students and 75% fare concession is given to the Scheduled Caste students by the Railways.
